This seems to be a resounding theme lately…wherever I go. We bought a new car and ended up with that dealership because we felt more welcome than our long term dealership where we they had a brand we bought for more than 20 years. Once we bought the car, our salesperson gave us a tour of the building, introduced us to some key people and then brought us in the meet the General Manager.
I won’t forget what the GM said. He said, “Welcome to the family.” That felt special. It felt like we made the right decision. It felt like he cared about us. It made us feel like the dealership was kind of like home.
The same thing happened at my chiropractor’s office. He has a white board with first names of all of the people who came on board to the organization that week. At the top of the whiteboard it says, “Welcome to the Family”
